Agartala, 29 January, 2021: All India Secretary of Indian Journalist Union and Secretary of Agartala Press Club, Pranab Sarkar visited Belonia Police Station with the demand of arrest and strict punishment of the criminals associated with the attack on the journalist at Belonia.

The Journalist was brutally attacked in Belonia and has been hospitalized. The injured journalist has been identified as Ashok Dasgupta.

Agartala Press Club Secretary, Pranab Sarkar talked with the OC of Police Station and requested for quick punishment of the attackers.

After that he visited the family of attacked journalist and talked with the locals. He assured that Tripura Journalist Union will always be by the side of all journalists and at all moments committed to solve every problem faced by them.
